Scott Smith, CEO of Highpoint Solar, moved to the eastern Sierra in 1988. His love for the environment and the pristine Sierra backcountry motivated him to explore establishing a renewable energy company. In 2008, Scott and Amy, established Highpoint Solar, Inc.

Scott is a C-46 solar, C-10 electrician and Class B licensed general contractor. Scott and Amy are able to execute all aspects of solar projects including design, build, interconnection, maintenance and inspection. When Scott is not designing or installing solar power systems he enjoys playing the guitar and the recreational opportunities of the eastern Sierra. He is focused on providing his clients with the latest cutting-edge technology by continuing his alternative energy education.

Amy Smith, CFO of Highpoint Solar, moved to the eastern Sierra in 1999. She has a background in mortgage finance, management and accounting. When Amy isn't busy educating clients about the solar process or crunching numbers she enjoys exploring our beautiful eastern Sierra, biking, hiking and snow sports. She is focused on making the solar process simple, attainable and affordable for all of her clients.
