Design and Interconnection
We start by making sure your home's electric is up to snuff. To aid us in our design we use the exact location of your home, its roof line and shading analysis to ensure your solar power system is built to give you the most power production for your buck. Our decades of experience allow us to work seamlessly with the utility to gain approval to interconnect your new solar power source to the grid.
Yay! Installation day is here
We work directly with a multitude of solar power equipment distributors, cutting out the middleman and passing the savings directly onto you. Now that your top of the line equipment is here, it's time to put it to work. Our highly skilled and insured installation crew will be on site for 2 - 3 days, installing, connecting and commissioning your new solar power system. We take extreme care to protect your home while adding to your home’s value with a beautiful, low profile, sleek all back solar power system.
Inspection and Monitoring
Our team works closely with county and town inspectors. After your system is installed we will meet with the county or town inspector. This step ensures that your solar power system is built as designed and all electric and snow load codes have been precisely adhered to. Our systems are smart and use your home's internet connection to report up to the minute solar power production calculations.
Permission To Operate
We will provide the utility with the final inspection. This last step gains Permission To Operate your new solar power system. With PTO your utility billing structure will change to a Net Energy Metered account. Net Energy Metering allows you to bank solar credits in the summer months, when production is high and later use those credits in the winter months, when shorter days equal lower solar power production. Your utility company will continue to send monthly statements with an annual settle up date. The goal in going solar is to have your final statement of the year reflect a zero or small credit balance.
